[René Clément] has assembled an international cast and filmed the exteriors of his movie in Canada, the interiors in a Paris studio. What he didn’t have was a script, especially one with reasonably believable dialog. — Tony Mastroianni

Certainly not one of his best Clément’s remake of the David Goodis novel Black Friday is a little drawn out and at times perplexing. This isn’t a particularly bad movie but by no means a great. Watchable – just. — Adam Whittaker
