
The Last Run is a bit disconnected — and, I suspect, the on-the-fly director switch from Huston to Fleischer didn’t help. Certainly there is some good though (…). I think the subtext [of the movie] is acceptance of age (…). This is an imperfect thriller but I’ll watch anything with George C. Scott and the European countryside is a wonderful setting for the car sequences. — Gary W. Tooze
