NORTH KOREA. Pyongyang. 1992. On April 15, 1992, about fifty thousand students and school children were mobilized in a mass game to celebrate the eightieth birthday of President Kim II Sung. The ceremonies were held in a stadium in the capital city of Pyongyang. For the past several years, because of droughts, floods and other reasons, crops have languished in North Korea, and the flood situation is said to be very critical.
