Didi Kinzinger (30), an American, is married to Narayan Contractor (33) an Indian engineer. They met at the Univ. of Colorado, where she was a student. She participates to the tightly knit affairs of an orthodox Hindu family. The couple spent the first 9 years of their marriage at Nasik, a four hour train journey from Bombay, with their daughters Kirin (6 months) and Maya (10), and their sons Deven (4) and Rahul (7). Now they have moved to a modern seashore cottage in Juhu, in the Bombay suburbs.
